In Geneva, Russia and the United States discussed mutual recognition of vaccination certificates

The head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that American representatives “heard the arguments of Russia,” TASS reports.

“They have heard the arguments and understand that this is rational, because the approval of a vaccine for sale on the market and the approval of a drug as a prophylaxis of the COVID-19 disease itself are different processes. I think that our colleagues are very competent, informed, and they will appreciate our words, and we will return to this conversation”, the minister said.

The minister clarified that it is not about the recognition of vaccines, but about the certificates, as well as about the effectiveness of preventive measures.
