Chairmans Chat – October 2021
And so we arrive in autumn and the nights closing in with darkness earlier which means the recommencing of the 12 car season, The first 12 car after the summer break (normally) has been held and was well organised by James and David Baillie a report in the mag hopefully.
We have also had the autosolo at Kemble since last clubnight which was a success and received good feedback on the day and afterwards from competitors. We were able to use the timing app for the event and also the timing beams which were a great success with all.
Personally I have to thank all members who gave their time to help the event run successfully both on the day and in the lead up to the event.
As we move into the winter months there are a number of events running in the surrounding areas to us and of course we have the Driveshaft on the 30th of this month, I am sure that the organisers would appreciate any help that people can give so if you can please contact Keith /Janet or Roger.
Looking forward we are at the time of year that we need to thinking of next years events as associations etc will be looking for dates to go in there diaries. With this in mind can any event organisers please relay any dates they have to the comp sec for his diary, also I am sure Andy will be looking for organisers for the 12 cars for early next year so please contact him if you can help.
Till next time
Regards
Chris Foxley
