The Defense in the Berhalter Era

It's been pretty good.

Just to throw out the numbers this year: 17 games, 8 goals against, 10 clean sheets.

We've played some minnows. But we've also played some good teams and some tough road games.

The circumstances have varied. Sometimes we've had Adams at the 6, and to me we look much more secure when that's the case. But we've found a way to hold down the fort when he's been out.

We looked bad the first half against Honduras, but the team dug deep to keep the game within reach....
