Cassano: ‘Juventus and Inter Scudetto favourites’

Antonio Cassano maintains Inter and Juventus are the Scudetto favourites, with Napoli real contenders, but puts Milan and Roma ‘further back’ in the pecking order.

His predictions do not reflect what we have seen in the Serie A season so far, even if it is only seven rounds into the 2021-22 campaign.

Napoli are on top with a 100 per cent record, while Milan and Inter are unbeaten, but Juve struggled badly in the opening games.

“Inter and Juventus are my favourites for the Scudetto,” said Cassano as a guest on Christian Vieri’s Bobo TV Twitch channel.

“This is because Juve have the strongest squad, while Inter won the title last season. Napoli I see as the third wheel who could barge in.

“I put Milan, Roma and the others further back.”
