Alasdair Gold has revealed the energy that Antonio Conte has brought to Tottenham Hotspur has transformed the mood within the club.

Over the last week, we have seen plenty of reports detailing the impact that Conte has had in his first week at Spurs.

It has been claimed that some of the Tottenham players have been blown away by the Italian’s attention to detail during training sessions and his man-management skills.

The Athletic revealed a few days ago that it is not just the players who have been buoyed by the 52-year-old’s arrival but also the staff at the North London club.

The report stated that the intensity and drive that Conte and his coaching team have shown has resonated with the staff at Hotspur Way and everyone from the analysts to the sports scientists are keen to impress them.

Gold has now discussed how the mood around the club has completely sifted since the former Inter boss’ arrival.

The journalist said on his YouTube channel: “He is an absolute bundle of energy. He never stops.

“That’s what he’s like behind the scenes and naturally, that has raised everybody at the club.

“Everyone inside the club has gone from being like ‘this is a bit rubbish’ to ‘woah, this is exciting’.

“Spurs have paid a lot of money for him, but that’s why they’ve paid that money, to raise everyone at the club.”
