New stage of cooperation between Ukraine and NATO
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal has said that Ukraine and NATO are beginning a new stage of cooperation in the field of communications and information, he wrote on Facebook
According to the Ukrainian prime minister, the EU has allocated Kiev 21 million euros for military needs, with “the funds will be provided to develop and strengthen the capacity of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in four areas: medicine, cyber security, engineering capabilities and mine clearance activities, mobility and logistics.”
Schmagal also stressed that Ukraine’s army was launching a new phase of cooperation with NATO – for now in the field of communications and information:
“We approved an updated Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Ukraine and the NATO Communications and Information Organization at the Government meeting. The document provides for the beginning of cooperation with the Alliance in the field of consultation, management, communication, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance,” – the politician concluded.
