Santa Clara: Northbound San Tomas Expressway reopened after man killed in traffic collision
SANTA CLARA — A pedestrian was killed in fatal traffic collision Sunday night, closing portions of northbound San Tomas Expressway for several hours, according to authorities.
Santa Clara police said they received a call around 8:09 p.m. about a collision.
A male pedestrian was killed in a crash involving a vehicle, according to authorities.
Police tweeted at 8:35 p.m. that northbound San Tomas Expressway was closed between Scott Blvd and Central Expressway due to the collision. The roadway was reopened around 4:30 a.m., police said.
