My kids called my new wife a ‘w***e’ after their mom claimed I cheated on her – but I revealed who the true cheater was

But, these kids took it one step too far when they went after their dad’s new wife and insulted her.

A newly-married man revealed he had a falling out with his own adult kids after his ex-wife – and their mother – allegedly told them lies.

Taking to Reddit, where he could remain anonymous, the 44-year-old dad wrote: “Their mom and I broke up nine years ago because I caught her cheating with my friend in our own home with our 4-month-old son sleeping in the next room.

“And the breakup was hard especially for the kids but as parents, we did everything possible so that they can be happy. And we decided that we would never tell them the real reason we broke up until they are adults.

“For them, we only broke up because it was the best. We always told them that we functioned better separately and that that way we could all be happy.”

As expected, the dad moved on and “met someone a few years after our breakup and now we are married and have a 21 months old girl and she’s pregnant with our second, but my two oldest kids refuse to meet their sister, they don’t even speak to my wife and never wanted to tell me why. They just hate her.”

The oldest kids are 19 and 18, while his new wife is 27 years old.

He continued: “And at first (when we started dating) it was kind of understandable, my wife is younger and she was the first person I dated after breaking up with their mother so I decided to give them a few months so they could adjust to the new situation, but those months turned into years and they never really tried to get to know my wife.

“And she always said that she was okay with that, so I decided to let it go.

“But their attitude just got worse and when our daughter was born, they didn’t want to meet her and I’m not gonna lie that pissed me off because they were treating her like a stranger just because they don’t like her mom, so for a while, I stopped texting them since I was always the one who contacted them.”

The disappointed dad then revealed that he found his wife crying one day and she told him that his sons had sent her a very rude text.

She had allegedly tried to contact them but they turned on her and allegedly called her a “w***e” and said they would never meet “that bastard” (the baby) because they hate them.

The dad allegedly then called one of his sons and the son claimed their mom had told them that their dad had cheated on her with the new wife.

He claimed: “That is a lie because I didn’t even know her at the time.

“So I got mad and told him that he was wrong, and that the cheater was his mother and that if he didn’t believe me that I could show them the papers that I still have from the paternity test that we had to do because she didn’t even know who was the real father of our 9-year-old son because she cheated for years.”

“He was speechless and just hung up the call.”

He then admitted: “And now I feel like maybe I went too far because I shouldn’t have told him that, but I was mad because I love my daughter and my wife and I don’t want anyone to hurt them.

“She is the sweetest and kindest person I ever met in my life and seeing her sad or crying breaks my heart, and that’s why I reacted that way.”

Many people took to the comment section to side with him after his wife “crossed a line,” but one reader helped him understand why his kids reacted that way.

“Understand. You married a 25-year-old when they were 17/16. They were very freaked out and it shows that his mother preyed on this to have them hate you and wife because she must be very angry you up and married a 25-year-old (if you married her around the time she got pregnant).

“It is disturbing that she just up and said you were f**king an 18-year-old (or younger) and they fell for that, but their mother was very smart (read: disgusting) to use that in her favor.

“Here we see a 17-year-old having a stepmother that is 8 years older than him and it kind of ‘makes sense’ that dad would choose the young girl ‘he is cheating’ than the wife.

“You just shattered their world and what they know about their family. They have seen you and their mother through different lights all these years. I’m not saying they were right for calling your wife names, but they were in a very difficult moment and your ex totally used this in her favor.

“In the end, your ex-wife is the real villain, and she can’t say s**t that you went back on your promise when she weaponized your new marriage to turn your children against you and when she is the cheater that has been doing for a long time.

“I think you should really send them some of the divorce papers about her infidelity, and tell them that you are ready to talk when they are ready. I understand your anger but remember that they may be considered adults, but they don’t know anything other than what people tell them.

“As for now, I would tell your wife to block them and not get into contact with them for a long time, until YOU and them resolve your issues before you bring her and your daughter back into the conversation.”
