‘We probably should be careful’ – Some fans react to Spurs’ FA Cup third round draw
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to react to the outcome of the FA Cup third round draw which has just taken place.
Spurs enter the competition at this stage, along with the rest of the Premier League and Championship clubs.
The draw was made a short time ago and saw Tottenham allocated the number 40 ball where they were pulled out of the hat to face League Two outfit Morecambe.
The Shrimps are currently 20th in League One, having won five of their opening 19 matches.
Morecambe booked their place in the third round of the competition with a 1-0 home win against non-league Buxton at the weekend.
Tottenham’s last taste of success in the competition came in 1991 when Terry Venables’ side beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 at Wembley courtesy of a Paul Stewart goal and Des Walker putting through his own net.
Here is what some of the North London faithful had to say about the draw.
A home draw? It’s a Christmas miracle

I’m fairly confident to say that Morcombe would definitely give NS Mura a good game, so judging by that, we probably should be careful with them..
