The Domestic Violence Unit in the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, on Monday 6th December , commemorated 16 Days Activism Against Gender-Based Violence for Youths

• Days Activism Against Gender-Based Violence for Youths , with the theme ‘ Orange the World, Stop Gender- Based Violence against women and girls now!’ , which held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alausa.

The participants were urged to be Change Agents in rebuilding cultural norms and practices , that spike gender – based violence within the society.

Culprits of all forms of Gender-Based Violence, will thenceforth be paraded publicly, as measures to curb such societal menace.
