[Women's Bowling] SXU Women's Bowling Wins 2021 Warhawk Open

Addison, Ill. – The No. 5 seed Saint Xavier University women's bowling team defeated No. 6 seed Midland University (Neb.), 2-1 (146-185, 188-187, 231-219), to win the 2021 Motiv Warhawk Open on Sunday afternoon at Stardust Bowl in Addison, Ill. It's the third team title for the Cougars, having won the Golden Eagle Invite on October 27, 2019 and the Glenn Carlson Invite on December 19, 2019. SXU was in seventh place after day one with a score of 5,271 pins, but bounced back on Sunday and took the No. 5 seed with 8,126 pins in the Baker Games to qualify for the tournament.
