Winter Skills Clinics
We are pleased to announce that beginning in January LUSC will offer a comprehensive set of programs for players eager to remain in contact with the ball throughout the “off-season”. LUSC will offer a coed kindergarten program and gender-specific programs from 1st through 8th grade.
LUSC Clinics are:

- Decision Making on and off the Ball.
The registration deadline is January 1st. All registrations received after that date will be put on a waitlist. Any programs that reach capacity, even if prior to the January 1 st deadline, will be closed and any further registrations received will be placed on a waitlist. LUSC reserves the right to fill excess capacity in programs after the deadline with players outside the age parameters of a specific program, as it deems appropriate.

LUSC Coed Kindergarten Skills Clinic – $175
This program will be coed and focus on developing motor skills and a coordination level on the ball through fun activities and small sided games.
Dates: Fridays, January 7, 14, 21, 28; February 4, 11, 18; March 4
Time: 1:00 to 2:05 pm
Location: The Edge, Bedford
Capacity: 25 participants total
LUSC 1st and 2nd Grade Skills Clinic “Setting the Foundation” – $175
This program will be gender-specific and will focus on building a solid foundation of individual skills with proper technique and player enjoyment as the primary focus. There will be coordination exercises mixed in, but the ball will be at the center of everything we do.
Dates: Fridays, January 7, 14, 21, 28; February 4, 11, 18; March 4
Time: 1:00 to 2:05 pm
Location: The Edge, Bedford
Capacity: 25 participants per gender
LUSC 3rd through 5th Grade Skills Training – $175
This program will be gender-specific and will focus on individual skills training and fast-break attack. The curriculum will have plenty of 1v1, 2v1, and 3v2 exercises with an emphasis on attacking at speed.

Time: 2:10 to 3:15 pm

Capacity: 25 participants per gender
5th through 8th Grade Girls Advanced Skills Clinic – $195
For 5th through 8th grade soccer players. This is a 10-week program for the committed soccer player!
Dates: Wednesdays, January 5, 12, 19, 26; February 2, 9, 16; March 2, 9, 16
Time: 7:30 to 9:00 pm
Location: Lexington Christian Academy
Capacity: 40 participants
5th through 8th Grade Boys Advanced Skills Clinic – $195
For 5th through 8th grade soccer players. This is a 10-week program for the committed soccer player!
Dates: Mondays, January 10, 24, 31; February 7, 14, 28; March 7, 14, 21, 28
Time: 7:30 to 9:00 pm
Location: Lexington Christian Academy

About the Director:
Coach Donahue holds a USSF “A” license, US Youth Soccer National Youth License and NSCAA Premier Diploma as well as serving as a MYSA staff coach and Olympic Development Coach. Brendan became the Director of Coaching for Lexington United Soccer Club on January 1, 2006. Prior to coming to Lexington, Coach Donahue had served as the Acting Men’s Soccer Coach at Northeastern University (NCAA Division I) after having been the first assistant during the most successful period of the program’s history. Donahue’s collegiate coaching experience is extensive including positions as assistant coach at Middlebury College, Tufts University, Vassar College and a head coaching position at Curry College where he led the Colonels to the Commonwealth Conference tournament for the first time since 1995.
