Adele snaps up Sylvester Stallone’s £42million mansion after price is slashed in half’

ADELE is reportedly buying Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone’s mansion in Beverly Hills for £42million.

The 33-year-old pop sensation is adding more real estate to her Los Angeles portfolio and is ‘in escrow for Sly’s massive home,’ according to TMZ sources.

The luxury pad was originally listed for a whopping $110million last year – but failed to sell.

The Sunday Times Rich List 2021 reports the singer is worth around £130 million – while her latest album 30 could add another £600million to her fortune.

Designed by architect Edward Granzbach and built in 1994, it is 18,587 square-foot and is located in the exclusive and gated area of North Beverly Park.

Boasting eight-bedroom and 12-bathrooms, this mega pad has it all.

The main house features six bedrooms and nine bathrooms – including a master suite, three spacious en-suite bedrooms, and two maids bedrooms. 

The exquisite master suite includes a sauna, steam room and an office with a terrace.

There is also movie theatre, a gym, a cigar room with an air-filtration system, and a putting green.

The grounds feature a massive patio with infinity pool, spa, and an air-conditioned 8-car garage with an art studio.

There is also a two-story guest house, which features two bedrooms with en-suites and a chef’s kitchen.

It will provide Adele with enough privacy, as the property sits at the end of a cul de sac up a long private driveway in an exclusive enclave. 

The house is also in the same area where restaurateur Lisa Vanderpump and British singer Rod Stewart used to live. While the gated community is also home to A-listers like Denzel Washington and Eddie Murphy.

The Rocky actor, 75, who purchased the property back in the 90s, listed the stunning home £110million last year, but there were no offers.

In August, he was said to have slashed the price to $85million and dropped the price again to £80million in October.

Property agent Jade Mills told People in May: “A lot of these homes in Beverly Park are big, beautiful homes but don’t have a view. This is an exceptional home with land, and it has a view.”

Discussing the home gym, Jade said: “What would you expect Rocky’s gym to look like? It truly is Rocky’s gym, even though I’m sure the whole family uses it.”

She added: “It’s double gated. You’re gated within the community, and then, again, when you get to the house, you’re gated.”

Adele recently left fans in tears as she opened up about the pain of her divorce in her brutally honest new single Easy On Me.

Adele, 33, had already said her new album, 30, is inspired by her divorce from businessman Simon Konecki, 47, in 2019.

Adele opened her heart again and revealed writing and singing about her split from Simon, whom she wed in 2018, was harder than she had envisioned.

Speaking to Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2, the singer, who has a six-year-old son, Angelo, with Simon, said: “It was bloody hard work to make. I was singing things I didn’t even realise I was feeling or thinking.

“But I’m really, really proud of it and I feel like I can’t unlock a door for my own mental health and take the key with me. I’ve got to leave it in the door for everyone else — and I’m in a strong place now where I feel like I can put that vulnerability out.”
