RHOC: Why Fans Are Impressed By Shannon Beador’s Daughters
During The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16, Shannon Beador’s daughters sat in confessionals, and fans can’t believe how much they’ve grown up. When Shannon first joined the Bravo show during season 9, her twins Stella and Adeline Beador were 11 years old, and her eldest daughter Sophie Beador was 14. Shannon was married to David Beador at the time, and her life centered around raising her kids. Seven seasons later, they’ve grown into amazing young adults. The twins are now 17 years old and Sophie is a 20-year-old college student.
Shannon’s rocky relationship with David was hard on the kids. They often heard them fighting and regularly felt the tension between them. When Shannon and David eventually divorced, it was tough on everyone, but fans were impressed with how well the kids handled it. Sophie shared that she was writing a book about dealing with divorced parents, saying that it was therapeutic for her. Shannon was worried that it would paint her and David in a bad light, but Sophie reassured her that it will come from a good place. The book has yet to be published, but Sophie is keeping busy as a sophomore at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Stella and Adeline have also turned out pretty well. In a recent episode, Shannon took Stella to her holistic doctor. Dr. Moon told Stella that she carries her anger in her liver area, which made Shannon worry that she still had negative feelings due to the divorce. When she asked Stella if she was angry, she replied that she wasn’t, but said that she felt stressed due to seeing her mother work so hard. In a confessional, Stella told the cameras that she wanted RHOC's Shannon to be happy but didn’t think she was truly there yet. It was a moment that showed fans how kind and empathetic she was. Shannon proudly shared a photo of her two girls’ RHOC interview looks on Instagram, and fans can’t get over how beautiful and mature they look.
Another huge change that Sophie, Stella, and Adeline had to deal with was their father getting remarried to Lesley Cook last year. Lesley was pregnant with David’s baby at the time and they welcomed their daughter Anna on February 6, 2020. Unfortunately, things between Shannon and the new parents turned ugly when Shannon sent them a baby gift as a peace offering but publicly stated that they rejected it.
According to Heavy, Lesley fired back at Shannon’s claims in a now-deleted Instagram story: “I declined a gift like my husband wrote you a check for $1,400,000.000 like you claimed on an episode. If you did send a gift I’m guessing it was a bunny at this point. This seems to be a lifetime movie in the making. The horrible things I could share about you & I choose not to. Please stop harassing me on your platforms.”
It’s hard growing up in the spotlight but the Beador girls seem to be handling it well so far. Sophie’s Instagram posts show her hanging out with her many friends and boyfriend, Reese Perry. While Stella’s Instagram is private, Adeline’s posts are mostly of her on the beach, smiling happily. Next year, the twins will go off to college, leaving Shannon an empty nester. It will be interesting to see how Shannon will deal with that in future seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
