KUWTK: Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott Helped Kanye Attend Chicago's Party
Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend, Travis Scott, allegedly helped Kanye West get into his daughter Chicago West's birthday party. Kanye claimed he was not invited to the birthday party that his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, had for their daughter. He took to Instagram Live to ask for fans' support and let Chicago know that he wanted to be there. Kim, however, was shocked at this news. Sources claimed it was Kanye's idea to have two parties and that he was set to celebrate with Chicago later in the day. The "Praise God" singer was also spotted at the party in a video taken by Travis Barker's daughter.
While Kanye credits Kylie and Travis for helping him attend the party, the couple has been in hot water lately. Following the Astroworld tragedy that ended in a mass casualty, Kylie and Travis have maintained that they didn't know what was happening in the crowd during the concert. According to sources, Kylie has been upset since the tragedy occurred and has been trying to comfort Travis. Travis, for his part, has reportedly been in contact with the families of the victims. However, other instances of Travis encouraging his fans to rage when he's on stage have surfaced. It seems like Kylie is still supporting Travis, despite the Astroworld tragedy and their mostly silent stance since then.
In a video shared by Hollywood Unlocked on Instagram, Kanye thanked both Travis and Kylie for helping him out. "I just gotta shout out to Travis Scott for sending me the address and the time, and making sure that I was able to spend that birthday memory with my daughter to be there with the rest of the family," Kanye said in a video from his car. He also shouted out Kylie for letting him in because the security stopped him at first. Overall, it seemed like he had a good time at the party and was able to be there for his daughter. He also mentioned that, even though people have a lot of different things to say about him, his children are what's most important to him. "This is my main focus. My life centers around my children."
Kanye and Kim had drama circulating before the party incident. Kanye took a shot at Kim's boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson, in his new song "Eazy." The lyrics reference Kanye's 2002 car accident and that he survived the crash so he could "beat Pete Davidson’s ass." He also shaded Kim's parenting by implying the nannies take care of their children. Other references in his song include his and Kim's divorce and Kim's sister, Kourtney Kardashian. Even though there has been a lot of drama surrounding Kim and Kanye's divorce, Kanye's appearance at Chicago's birthday party seems like a step in the right direction. Kim and Kanye also share three other children--North, Saint and Psalm--together.
Although it's unclear whether or not Kanye was invited to Chicago's party at first, it's nice to see that he was able to be there for a big moment in his daughter's life. The Kardashian family's upcoming Hulu show will probably be showcasing a lot of this behind-the-scenes drama that fans don't get to see play out on Keeping Up With The Kardashians anymore. Until then, fans will have to follow along with everyone's social media accounts.
