Fortnite's Tilted Towers Has Officially Returned | Screen Rant
Thanks to today's rollout of Version 19.10, the Tilted Towers location has officially returned to Fortnite. Fans have long anticipated Epic Games' reinstatement of the Tilted Towers, with rumors and leaks as far back as September 2021 hinting at the content's revival. A battle royale-centric Point of Interest originally introduced in January 2018 for Fornite Chapter 1 Season 2, Tilted Towers is best known for its high-rise buildings and vast amounts of rooms to explore and items to loot.
As with many of the most exciting features in Fortnite, the Tilted Towers Point of Interest didn't remain intact for very long. In Season 4, for example, a meteor struck one of its structures, reducing an entire area of the locale to rubble. Fortnite's Tilted Towers has since been leveled and rebuilt, redesigned, remade, and destroyed all over again. After the location's lengthy absence throughout the course of Chapter 2, now seems as good a time as any for the beloved city of skyscrapers to once more reclaim its mark on the virtual Island.
Today, January 18, Epic Games deployed Fornite Version 19.10, an update that reintroduces Tilted Towers to Island goers. Of course, snow continues to cover parts of the newly thawed POI, whose classic Clock Tower looms large over the landscape yet again. Fans can now explore the city to their heart's content, racing across the skyline, running in and out of buildings, and stopping by restaurants to duke it out on the enclosed battlefield with their enemies. The official Fortnite Twitter account shared a sneak peek of the POI in the following clip:
The latest resurgence of Tilted Towers isn't all Fortnite faithful have to look forward to, either. Version 19.10 also dropped Klombo on the Island, unleashing a dinosaur-inspired creature who roams around various parts of the map. The wild animal seems friendly enough but will attack if players get hostile towards it. Users will also be pleased to learn that Epic Games has "unvaulted and adjusted" the Grenade Launcher for Fornite's newest update.
This marks one of the more significant patches since the advent of Fornite Chapter 3 in early December 2021. Chapter 3 most notably brought a new map, fresh mechanics, and several new characters into the mix, the latter of which included Spider-Man. And, of course, this is just the beginning of Fortnite's latest phase.
Fortnite is available to play now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Android platforms.
