Monster Hunter Rise: Toxic Kumori Farming Guide | Screen Rant

0

Players will need Toxic Kumori to craft certain items in Monster Hunter Rise, but finding it isn't as easy as searching in a specific biome or completing a quest. Toxic Kumori is an insect that's used for a variety Monster Hunter Rise weapons, armor sets, and buddy items or upgrades. Players looking to obtain a large quantity of Toxic Kumori will need to use the Argosy and make sure it's running with all three services active.

The Argosy is a Facility in Kamura Village's Buddy Plaza, and it serves as a trading venue for players to find and farm resources. To unlock the two additional submarines for the Argosy, players need to complete the "Cultural Exchange" and "Economic Stimulation" side quests. Once those missions are completed, players will be able to use all of the trading services at the Argosy and get Toxic Kumori in larger quantities quicker.

Along with adding services to the Argosy, players should level up their buddies before sending them to search for resources. In order to obtain Toxic Kumori, players need to send their leveled buddies in Monster Hunter Rise to search for specific plants. The plants that players need to search for are Antidote Herb, Fire Herb, Flowfern, Herb, Ivy, Sleep Herb, Snow Herb, or Sunscorned Grass. Searching for any of these plants has the chance to also return one or multiple Toxic Kumori insects.

After leveling their buddies and upgrading the Argosy, players will need to collect a total of 35 Toxic Kumori to use in all of the relevant crafting recipes in Monster Hunter Rise. It can be time-consuming to collect that many Toxic Kumori, so players may want to prioritize certain armor pieces or weapons over others when crafting with this material. Every crafting or upgrade recipe that uses this resource will require one, two, or three Toxic Kumori.

  • Arachnid Bow
  • Alacrantze
  • Cornupion
  • Skalda Armor Set
  • Skalda S Armor Set
  • Spio Armor Set
  • Spio S Armor Set
  • Arachnid Bow 2
  • Arachnid Silverstring
  • Alacrantze 2
  • Alacrantze 3
  • Cornupion 2
  • Scorpion Lance
  • Webbed Cornupion

With 35 Toxic Kumori, players can work on crafting all of the items that require it as part of the recipe. However, players will need a few other materials for each item in order to craft them. Farming for Toxic Kumori will go quicker if players unlock the additional submarines for the Argosy, which can also be used to farm other valuable materials in Monster Hunter Rise. Players should level their buddies by visiting the Buddy Expert before searching for resources. Toxic Kumori is one of several resources that isn't found in the wild or by completing quests in Monster Hunter Rise.
