[Women's Track & Field] Simpson named CCAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week

CHICAGO – Freshman Madison Simpson (Burbank, Ill./Reavis) was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's T&F Field Athlete of the Week after her record-breaking performance this weekend at the Sean Brady Alumni Open hosted by Trine University (Ind.) when the awards were announced by the conference Wednesday morning. She is the first Cougar to win Field Athlete of the Week since former NAIA All-American Alex Lambros (2016-19) won the award twice in 2019 for her performances in the Long Jump and the Triple Jump.
