10 Most Powerful Versions Of Moon Knight | ScreenRant

0

The MCU's Moon Knight trailer revealed that the character will be very close to the original Moon Knight in Marvel Comics. There are many powerful versions of the characters in the comics, including variants within the Earth-616 universe, and others from across the multiverse. The most powerful version actually hunted Moon Knight variants across the multiverse in the comics.

In fact, that version of Moon Knight and others have an intriguing connection to the multiverse that could very well materialize in live-action in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness. Given that the MCU Moon Knight series and the upcoming movie will overlap in the first week of May, it's very possible some of the most powerful versions of Moon Knight could appear alongside Doctor Strange.

10 Crescent Moon

Crescent Moon is one of the many variants of Moon Knight who appears in Marc Spector: Moon Knight #42, one of the best Moon Knight comic book issues of the '90s. She has no superpowers but seems to possess all of Moon Knight's martial arts skills and abilities.

She also commands a small army of heavily armed acolytes in her battle to save the city of Manhatican from Grey Wing, a supervillain who bears some resemblance to Man-Bat from DC Comics. She could potentially appear in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness given the fact that this issue is actually called "Multiverse Madness!"

9 Ultimate Moon Knight

The Moon Knight from the Ultimate Comics universe of Earth-1610 is like the main universe version, an exceptional fighter. He was able to defeat the Ultimate Spider-Man in battle, proving he's one of the best martial artists in the Marvel Universe.

He may also possess superhuman strength and stamina since he was able to recover from serious injuries like a gunshot wound. He was later temporarily given superhuman strength thanks to a spell from Doctor Strange, something that could happen in the MCU as well.

8 Moonwing

Moonwing is a product of the Amalgam Universe, the fusion of the Marvel and DC Comics universes in the '90s in one of the wildest comic crossovers ever. He's a combination of Moon Knight and Nightwing, with all the powers and abilities of both, making him one of the most expert fighters in either universe.

Moonwing uses both the truncheon and Nightwing's trademark escrima sticks as weapons. His power can go up or down depending on the phase of the moon. During a full moon, he's at the maximum of his power and ability.

7 Moon Knight (Earth-616)

The Earth-616 version of Moon Knight has varied in his power over the years. Comic book fans know Moon Knight is a regular human, but he has at times possessed some superpowers, including immortality. He has been resurrected on several occasions by the Egyptian deity of Khonshu who granted him the Moon Knight persona.

Other versions of Moon Knight throughout the multiverse may possess this ability, but it's unclear in some cases. Moon Knight is also outfitted with heavily resistant armor and a variety of weapons like crescent darts and his trademark truncheon.

6 Dinosaur Moon Knight

The dinosaur version of Moon Knight only gets a brief cameo in Marc Spector: Moon Knight #42, but it's enough to establish that he's one of the most powerful versions of the character. Not only does he have all the power of Moon Knight, but he's also a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Dinosaur Moon Knight has enormous strength and power, as well as natural stamina no human version can come close to. He's one of the many great variants explored in the multiverse and would be fantastic to see in live-action.

5 ArachKnight

ArachKnight combines the powers of Moon Knight and Spider-Man, making for one of the strongest multiverse versions of Spider-Man in Marvel Comics. He has the ability to shoot webs, stick to surfaces, and gain even more power with the phases of the moon.

This version of the character emerged from the 2018 Infinity Warps crossover event. Though he's Peter Parker, he also has the dissociative personality disorder of Moon Knight, with four different personalities competing for dominance in his mind.

4 Moon Fang

Moon Fang is another variant from Marc Spector: Moon Knight #42 and is a vampire version of Moon Knight. He has all the power and abilities of Moon Knight as well as a vampire, making him immortal thanks to his ability to feed on the blood of others.

He is virtually unchallenged in his domain, the Isle of Man-Hadness. He embodies the horror elements of Moon Knight, who first appears in Marvel Comics in Werewolf By Night #32 in 1975, perhaps more than any other version.

3 Zombie Moon Knight

Even more powerful is the zombie version of Moon Knight from the Marvel Zombies universe. This undead variant of Moon Knight maintains all of Marc Spector's power and abilities, as well as his intelligence. He also is virtually unkillable as he's already dead.

He even survived being destroyed by other zombies who obtained the Power Cosmic. He was somehow resurrected, perhaps by Khonshu as was the case in Earth-616, and appeared in the aftermath of this epic battle on Earth-2149.

2 Moon Knight (Earth X)

The Earth-X version of Moon Knight is also immortal, but he simply can't die. By virtue of the Re-Animator Stone, Marc Spector can never die and so doesn't even need to be resurrected. He would be impervious to the zombie virus of Earth-2149.

He also has all the powers and abilities of Moon Knight, an exceptional martial artist, and practitioner of a variety of weapons. He mostly relies on a pair of uzis as weapons in place of other versions reliance on Egyptian themed weapons.

1 Moon Shade

Moon Shade is by far the most powerful version of Moon Knight. He can absorb the life energy and essence of other people and goes about absorbing the power of the many variants of Moon Knight throughout the multiverse in Marc Spector: Moon Knight #42.

He was created by Magus, an evil version of Adam Warlock during The Infinity War crossover event in the early 90s. Moon Shade could very well appear in the Moon Knight series or Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness as the Sorcerer Supreme travels from reality to reality.
