A COP has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a motorbike going the wrong way down the busy M25.
The officer was responding to reports of a stolen motorbike when he was hit on the clockwise carriageway near Junction 3 for Swanley at around 4pm.
He was rushed to a London hospital by air ambulance, Kent Police confirmed.
Onlookers filmed a helicopter hovering above the road shortly after the accident.
Terrifying dashcam footage taken minutes earlier showed a motorbike speeding towards oncoming cars.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, among other offences.
Both carriageways of the M25 were shut close to Junction 3 earlier today – but they have since been reopened.
Traffic is still heavily congested.
