Monday Mayhem! Sensex crashes 1732 points, Nifty sinks 3 per cent

Mumbai [India], January 24 (ANI): The Indian equities markets key indices Sensex and Nifty crashed by around 3 per cent on Monday wiping out nearly Rs 10 lakh crore of investors' wealth.

The benchmark Sensex slumped 1732.75 points or 2.94 per cent to 57,413.94 points at around 2.10 pm against its previous session's close at 59,037.18 points.
