[Men's Volleyball] Cal Pac Teams Labor at Oak Invitational

Benedictine-Mesa and UC Merced, the two ranked teams from the California Pacific Conference, struggled at the Oak Invitational, their opening tournament last weekend in Atherton, Calif.  The Redhawks, ranked No. 2 in the nation, started with a win over (RV) Hope International on Saturday, but fell to No. 3 Vanguard and No. 7 Menlo on Sunday.  The Bobcats, ranked No. 15 in the NAIA, entered the weekend 1-0, but dropped two out of three in the tournament, duplicating BENU's run of loss to Vanguard and Menlo before closing out with a win over HIU.  Simpson, 0-2 at the Oak Invitational, lost to Menlo in four sets and HIU in five.
