Suspect LaShawn McNeil dies after ‘killing’ NYPD Officer Jason Rivera while Wilbert Mora fights for life in hospital

THE alleged suspect accused of gunning down rookie NYPD Jason Rivera in Harlem died from his injuries on Monday, as second cop Wilbert Mora fights for his life in the hospital.

LaShawn McNeil, 47, was in critical condition after being shot by a third NYPD officer during a domestic disturbance inside his mother’s Harlem apartment on Friday.

Police said Mora, 27, is still in critical condition as of Sunday after undergoing two operations.
