90 Day Fiancé: Alina’s Alleged Firing From TLC Supported By Angry Fans
Alina Kozhevnikova has earned the wrath of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days viewers, and franchise fans are largely supporting the rumors that TLC allegedly fired the Russian woman after several of her online racist posts were uncovered. Viewers were furious with Alina after they discovered four racist posts she made over the years. Since Alina failed to show remorse for her offensive actions, many 90 Day Fiancé fans support her alleged removal from TLC, though Alina isn't the only cast member viewers are angry with.
Before The 90 Days season 5 is chronicling the uncomfortable relationship between Alina and American man Caleb Greenwood that features Alina pressuring Caleb to be intimate with her. Meanwhile, the singer was called out by viewers for using the N-word many times on social media, including in a throwback post she recently re-shared to her Instagram Story. While Alina said that she didn’t realize how offensive the word is, she didn’t respond to other unearthed posts that showed her insulting Asian people, among other offensive comments. Though Alina is trying to behave as though nothing happened, franchise fans are furious with her. Though it has yet to be confirmed, it is now rumored that TLC has cut ties with Alina and is editing her out of future content.
Reddit user JennHatesYou shared the news about Alina potentially being fired. Few 90 Day Fiancé fans were sorry to hear that she might not appear in future content, though some were sorry that they couldn’t witness Alina being called out. “Dang. I wanted to watch her sweat on the tell all,” one top commenter wrote. “TLC shut her WIFI down,” another comment joked. Though Before The 90 Days viewers appeared in agreement that Alina needs to go, many remained skeptical that TLC would actually fire her given how often they cast offensive personalities. “I'll believe it when it happens,” a skeptical commenter wrote.
While many viewers will be happy to see Alina leave TLC, 90 Day Fiancé fans also believe that the network needs to raise its standards when it comes to not casting other problematic people. Many viewers are angry that Big Ed Brown continues to be cast despite his problematic and predatory behavior. “I hope it's true but I cannot help but wonder why she was so quickly fired and not Big Ed who is equally if not more problematic,” one concerned user wrote. While many viewers called for Big Ed to be banned from TLC, others are equally unhappy that the network keeps including Angela Deem as well. Meanwhile, viewers remain furious that Geoffrey Paschel ever passed a background check.
Before The 90 Days viewers will have to stay tuned to see if TLC really makes a move to eliminate a problematic cast member like Alina. However, the network has a history of keeping offensive cast members to air messy drama despite negative feedback from fans. Meanwhile, Alina is also receiving viewer criticism for getting her friends to gang up on Caleb and pressure him into having sex with her. Though 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days viewers initially had a negative perception of Caleb, many are hoping to see him get far away from Alina and her bad behavior.
