[Women's Basketball] Fourth Quarter Rally Lifts No. 20 SXU Past, IUSB 79-76

South Bend, Ind. – No. 20 Saint Xavier University women's basketball (15-5, 13-1 CCAC) entered the fourth quarter trailing Indiana University South Bend, 59-51, and outscored the Titans 28-17 for a thrilling 79-76 road victory Friday afternoon in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action at the Student Activities Center in South Bend, Ind. The Cougars shot a blistering 68.8 percent (11-for-16) from the field in the final frame, with senior guard Sidney Lovitsch (Grayslake, Ill./Grayslake North) scoring eight of her team-high 22 points in the period and was 3-for-3 from the field and making a pair of clutch foul shots with :04 seconds left to give SXU a 77-76 lead. Lovitsch finished the game 8-for-16, with six rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks.
