It’s been a long time coming for Nike’s skating superstar. From the time he was Thrasher Magazine’s 2013 Skater of the Year, it felt like special things were on the horizon. We all knew a signature shoe was coming — we just had to wait for it to happen.

It’s finally here and it feels like everything sneaker culture has been missing for the last few years.

There’s so much sameness in the culture today with the sneaker people love. It’s Jordan 1’s or Dunks or Air Force 1’s. There’s rarely anything different.
