90 Day Fiancé: Jasmine Pineda Explains Real Reason Why Gino Wears Hat
After Gino Palazzolo finally reveals his hatless head on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Jasmine Pineda explains the reason why he actually wears it. Gino and Jasmine are perhaps the most controversial pair on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off''s current season. While Jasmine’s anger issues and jealousy already garnered backlash, Gino is now facing outcry for his relationship with an ex, especially because he sent her nude photos of Jasmine. However, before the chaos of the DMs between Gino and his ex, the couple gave viewers a lighthearted moment in episode 8 when Gino finally took off his hat.
The relationship between Gino and his hat is as complicated as his dynamic with Jasmine. During episode 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Gino revealed he rarely takes off his hat, as he feels naked without it. Gino doesn’t remember when he started wearing a hat and also admitted he even wore it during video calls with Jasmine. It was during their first night together in bed that Jasmine finally expected to see Gino’s bald head. However, Gino expertly turned the lights off before he removed the hat.
During an ET interview, Jasmine weighed in on Gino's relationship with his hat. She explained that from her perspective, “there is nothing wrong with his head.” According to Jasmine, “it has nothing to do with the way he looks because he's still attractive with or without the hat, it's the way he feels toward it.”
Jasmine also echoed comments she has made in the past by saying, “He is kinda the same shape and everything and we are talking about Hollywood actor.” She reminded everyone she thinks Gino resembles Bruce Willis when he takes his hat off. “He looks very similar to this person without the hat so it has nothing to do with the way he looks,” Jasmine specified. To Jasmine, Gino is “still attractive” with or without the hat. Still, Gino is not comfortable with this “new version” of himself without hair. Jasmine thinks only time will tell if Gino will ever be comfortable enough to step outside without wearing a hat.
Maybe it’s Jasmine herself who can convince Gino. From what viewers have seen of hatless Gino on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, he has a completely regular head and is paranoid for no reason. He does seem to have a little patch of hair that's somewhat awkward. However, if Gino shaves that off completely, he might look even more like Jasmine's "Michigan Bruce Willis."
Interestingly, in addition to revealing her true feelings about Gino's head, Jasmine's comments seem to suggest they're still together. She spoke fondly about him throughout the interview, which bodes well for the future of their relationship. However, viewers will hopefully find out their status as a couple one way or another before the season ends.
