Utah County Commission votes for resolution to make Bridal Veil Falls a state monument

The Utah County Commission voted two to one in favor of a resolution to make Bridal Veil Falls a state monument.

The resolution expresses community support for a monument but has no legal power. Utah County Commissioner Bill Lee proposed the resolution to keep the falls open, accessible and free to the public. The resolution is opposed to the potential development of the area.
