Man charged with assault after death of mum, 36, in Bury
A MAN has been charged with assault after a mum died in hospital.
Charissa Brown, 36, died after being rushed to hospital from a property in Bury, Greater Manchester, on Wednesday night.
Officers launched a murder probe and arrested three men, aged 32, 52, and 61, on suspicion of murder and rape.
They confirmed today Bobby Hardman, 32, has now been charged with assault.
He is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today.
The two other suspects have been released without charge.
Charissa had just made a fresh start in life after being released from jail for killing a man by pushing him under the wheels of a tram.
Her devastated mum Sue has now paid tribute, saying: “RIP my beautiful daughter.
Charissa’s teenage daughter added: “My beautiful mum I don’t know what I’m going too do without you, you were and still my world.”

It came as nearly 40 friends and relatives attended a vigil in Charissa’s honour at the spot where she was murdered.
Relatives hugged and cried as several fireworks were set off – with floral tributes laid.
Her mum and dad were comforted by friends at the police cordon.
Police swooped on two addresses in Bury following “multiple enquiries.
GMP has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to previous police contact.
