He’ll Be Like Him – Fulham Star On How He Expects Liverpool Target Fabio Carvalho To Develop

Liverpool worked intensively to sign Carvalho from Fulham before the January transfer window closed and had an agreement with the Cottagers while the player also underwent a medical.

The Reds had left the deal too late though and failed to push it through before the January window slammed shut; they remain keen on Carvalho and will go back for him in the summer.

And Fulham defender Ream feels that the bright talent is similar to Elliott and will be able to also make the jump into the first team mix at Anfield.

“I think Fabio will be more in the mould of a Harvey Elliott in terms of development and being able to make that jump”, Ream told the Sun.

“Maybe not right away, but I think everyone will see and has seen what his potential is.

“I’ve not seen a kid work as hard as Fabio does.

“He is someone who takes on every little piece of information and constructive criticism that comes his way”, the defender added.

Carvalho is out of contract at Fulham in the summer and if Liverpool cannot agree a fee with the Cottagers they face going through a tribunal, which will set the price.
