Dutch Schouten claims gold medal in women's 3,000m speed skating at Beijing 2022

Irene Schouten of the Netherlands claimed the gold medal of the women's 3,000m speed skating competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games here on Saturday, according to Xinhua.

Schouten, 30, timed three minutes and 56.93 seconds to beat the Olympic record of 3:57.70, set by Claudia Pechstein
