An anti-war militant and supporter of the Russian Revolution she was jailed 15 times. She defended Ethiopia against imperial attacks by Mussolini and Britain. She lived her last years in Ethiopia and was so loved that she was the only foreigner buried with the Ethiopian fighters against imperialism.What a fighter!
