KETTERING TOWN 1-1 LEAMINGTON

The dubious goals committee will have to be out, as either an own goal (scored by Jack Lane) or a touch by Jordon Crawford gave the Poppies a 1-1 draw at Latimer Park. A goal down very early in the first half was the story of the first half before the Poppies equalised not long after the break.  Connor Kennedy was sent off for two bookable offences but Ian Culverhouse's side never looked like losing the game and should have perhaps won it with the chances they created. Young Callum Stead (above) made his debut in the second half almost becoming the hero when his thunderbolt of a shot was inches over the bar. Full match report to follow.
