It’s been a stressful time – but we hope to move into our dream home with our ‘children’ within weeks, says Mark Wright
MARK Wright has revealed that he and wife Michelle Keegan are to move into their “dream” home in a matter of weeks.
The couple bought their sprawling Essex property for £1.3 million at the beginning of 2020 and set about turning it into a high-tech mansion in July of that same year.
The pair demolished the old property to make way for their huge Georgian-style mansion and have been giving fans a glimpse of the process as well as teasing their interiors on their Instagram account, Wrighty Home, ever since.
And now Mark, 35, has teased that the lovebirds will be moving into the palatial pad within weeks with their beloved dogs, Pip and Phoebe, who he affectionately brands their “children”.
Speaking to the Mirror, he said: “I reckon we’re a few weeks away, hopefully. It’s been a stressful but fun time. I’m excited to move in and live in the comforts we’ve worked so hard to get.”
When asked how their beloved pooches will react to the new place, the former Towie star said: “Our Chihuahua, Pip, thinks she rules the roost in the current house.
“It does make us laugh, but the minute we move in to the new place she will feel like it’s hers, like the queen of the palace.
“They are literally our children. We go on holiday and we don’t miss England or home. Michelle and I miss them.”

Late last month, Mark set up a pie stall to feed hungry builders at his £1.3million Essex home.
The broadcaster took to his Instagram Story to reveal Essex institution, Robins Pie N Mash, had travelled to the building site to serve up his family’s “favourite grub”.
Documenting the moment, Mark captured a slew of workers on camera queuing up for some of the mouth-watering grub.
He said: “New surprise for the boys today, pie and mash, double pie, double mash
“What’s it like working for me lads eh? You don’t get that on other sites. You have to bring a packed lunch sandwich.
“Beautiful, Robin’s bringing the goods. Our family’s favourite grub. Get in there.”
The week prior to their traditional British lunch Mark hired a McDonalds food truck to feed his builders onsite.
NEW BUILD
Mark and Michelle bought their home for £1.3 million but set about turning it into a high-tech mansion bristling with security features.
The stunning country pad has been designed like an elegant fortress and fitted with 360 degree motion-sensing cameras.
The pair often post updates on the building’s progress on their Wrighty Home Instagram account.
The master bedroom, which Mark has shown off on Instagram, has its own glass balcony so the couple can enjoy the countryside views.
Each of the property’s five bedrooms has its own en-suite, while three of them have dressing rooms.
They have shared computer-generated images of the living room and their en-suite spa area as well as the impressive exterior.
