I nearly set fire to my wedding venue after my bouquet went up in flames
FOR any bride, her wedding is supposed to be the best day of her life.
But unfortunately for US-based Emily Jackson, her special moment nearly went up in flames after her bouquet set alight in a freak accident.
In a shocking video shared to TikTok, the newlyweds can be seen making their way to the dancefloor as they prepare for their much-anticipated first dance.
But rather than the moment of pure romance that guests were expecting, the bride caused quite the fire hazard when she put her beautiful bouquet down on the table – only for it to catch alight from the candles.
Luckily, a guest and the wedding photographer were fast thinking and could be seen rushing over to stamp the fire out.

And the photographer was inundated with praise.
“Wedding photographers have no fear and will do anything for a bride,” enthused one, while a second penned: “The photographer is the real hero here!”
A third added: “I don’t know why it p***** me off so much it looked like they were applauding the man. THE PHOTOGRAPHER PICKED IT UP IN FLAMES.”

Shortly after, the photographer cleared things up and chimed in: “Thanks for the love guys. Two things – she was told to put the flowers there she isn’t dumb.”
