1000 Lb Sisters: Why Amanda's Gift To Tammy Was So Meaningful
Fans of 1000-lb Sisters know that the Slaton family is a complex system of relationships, and they want to learn all about the gift that Amanda Slaton gave Tammy Slaton. Although Amanda and Tammy seem to clash when it comes to their personalities, Amanda does appear to genuinely love her younger sister. In the last season, Tammy has spiraled out of control, all but abandoning her weight loss goals and partying her way into oblivion. However, her siblings haven't given up on her yet, despite their frustrations with her notoriously worsening attitude and seeming indifference to her own health.
Amanda's random act of kindness towards Tammy noticeably affected the 1000-lb Sisters star, and will hopefully remind her that although her weight and subsequent health issues may put stress on the family, her siblings will always care about her. This was one of the few times in the series that Tammy has shown true emotion and really connected with another family member. Hopefully, Amanda's reminder that Tammy is loved and lovable will have some lasting and positive impact on the star's mental and emotional well-being.
