Survivor: How Boston Rob & Amber Have Grown Their Family Over The Years
Boston Rob and Amber Mariano met on Survivor: All Stars and turned their showmance into a real relationship outside of the show, with the pair growing their family ever since. While appearing on two seasons of Survivor together and two on The Amazing Race, Rob and Amber started prioritizing having a family. Here is everything that Rob and Amber are up to now and what their family looks like many years after their time on Survivor season 8.
Boston Rob and Amber are not the only pair to find comfort with one of their fellow castaways on Survivor, though relationships do not usually last after leaving the island. In between blindsides at Tribal Councils and competing in rigorous challenges, some couples were bound to form, though they mostly keep it under wraps so they would not have a target on their backs. Another couple to famously come out of the show is Whitney Dunacn and Keith Tollefson from Survivor season 23, who are also married and have since competed on The Amazing Race.
Rob holds the record for most Survivor appearances, as he has been on six different seasons. He first competed on Survivor season 4, where he placed 10th, and he was asked to compete on the first returning players season called All-Stars in 2004. Rob and Amber started out on the same tribe and their chemistry was clear from the start. When they got separated in a tribe swap, Rob started making deals with other players that he would help them if they kept Amber safe. Amber went on to win the season with Rob as runner-up, and in a shocking twist, he proposed to her at the live finale.
Rob went on as a contestant in Survivor: Heroes vs Villains and won the title of Sole Survivor two seasons later on Redemption Island. After he and Amber got engaged at the finale, they had special on CBS called "Rob and Amber Get Married" in 2005 and the two have been going strong ever since. They have also proven to be strong competitors together on The Amazing Race, as they competed twice and placed second, then eighth. They then played a historical season of Survivor: Winners at War together, and despite not winning, they got an adorable family visit from their daughters.
All while competing on Survivor throughout the years, they spent time growing their family, as they now have four beautiful daughters. Their daughters are Lucia Rose (12), Carina Rose (11), Isabetta Rose (9) and Adelina Rose (7). Based on Rob's Instagram he is quite the family man, as he has posted dozens of pictures with the family building snowmen, eating lobster at their grandparent's house, and learning to ice skate. Though the pair seem to be living in sunny Pensacola, Florida, now, Rob and Amber still spend a lot of time in his hometown of Boston and he still sports his famous Boston hat.
