Former Newcastle owner Mike Ashley 'withdraws his bid to buy Championship club Derby County'

Ashley's 14-year tenure at St James' Park came to an end in October when the North-East club were taken over by a Saudi-led consortium. He has shown an interest in owning another club, though.
