Dancing On Ice’s Jason Gardiner reignites feud with Phillip Schofield as replacement Stephen Mulhern is praised by fans
DANCING On Ice star Jason Gardiner has reignited his feud with Phillip Schofield following his absence on the skating show this weekend.
The former judge, 50, couldn’t resist praising Stephen Mulhern who stood in for Phil this weekend as he continued to test positive for Covid.
Taking to Twitter after the show, Jason tweeted: “Well done @StephenMulhern.
“You are brilliant on any show you present because you are naturally funny and supremely talented. #scofe must be shutting himself! (sic)”
Stephen received rave reviews from fans as he hosted the show alongside Holly Willoughby – with many calling for him to take over full time.
Jason left Dancing On Ice in 2019 and was left fuming at the time when he didn’t hear from Phillip following the news, despite working with him since 2005.

He said at the time: “Since it was announced I was leaving the show I’ve had nothing from Phil and Holly. Not even a text message.
“It is hurtful, especially because when Phillip was getting a lot of negative attention recently I sent him a message of support.
“I thought they would get in touch but I’ve learned this industry is full of fake and disingenuous people.”
The Australian choreographer also admitted he’d a series of rows with the This Morning star over the years.
“I’ve had my issues with Phillip over the years, and I’ve always settled my grievances with him man to man. That’s how I deal with things — directly,” he revealed.
“We’ve shaken hands and those problems have been overcome. He is a brilliant presenter and very professional. But I also know he is not somebody I would have a close personal friendship with.”
