Man in his early 20s stabbed to death in southeast London
A murder investigation has been launched after a young man was stabbed to death in southeast London.
Emergency crews rushed to Lionel Road in Eltham shortly after 5pm on Tuesday following reports of a stabbing.
Police and paramedics found a man, believed to be in his early 20s, injured with knife wounds.
He was quickly taken to a London hospital, where he died a short while later.
His next of kin have been informed and homicide detectives are leading the investigation.
No arrests have yet been made.
The Met said a crime scene is likely to remain in place ‘for some time’.
