The ESG oriented practice has received bad wrap because of poor data integrity. The German NGO Urgewald launched the "Global Oil & Gas Exit List" (GOGEL), covering most of global oil and gas production. The initiative lifts environmental review of the fossil fuel-based industry to another level.
