Simon Cowell attends Britain’s Got Talent auditions by video link after testing positive for Covid
SIMON Cowell has filmed Britain’s Got Talent by video link after being struck by Covid.
The 62-year-old, who recently broke his arm in an e-bike crash, is feeling well and currently isolating at home.
A source said: “Simon didn’t want production to fall behind so decided to take part on Zoom. It’s not ideal but he wanted the show to go on and was glad to still be a part of it.”
Earlier today Simon’s BGT co-star Amanda Holden revealed he has no symptoms.
She told Jamie Theakston on their Heart Breakfast show: “I think he’s been very lucky because obviously this has been going on for nearly [two] years now and Simon’s never, ever had it.
“I don’t know how he got it, or when he got it, but he’s absolutely in good spirits. He doesn’t seem to have any symptoms at the moment.”
While he remains in good health, Amanda said Simon is making the most of the care he’s receiving from wife-to-be Lauren Silverman.

She continued: “He’s not feeling ill but I tell you what, he’s got Lauren running up and down stairs for him. She’s running baths and flipping chopping lemons. I’m like ‘flipping heck!’ He’s milking it!”
His latest bout of sickness comes after he almost died during a terrifying bike crash.
Sources said he was propelled over the handlebars and onto the road at 20mph — while not wearing a helmet.
Passers-by dashed to help the blood-soaked Britain’s Got Talent star before paramedics arrived.
The dad of one was rushed to hospital with suspected concussion and a broken arm.
