The vast city of Villedor in Dying Light 2 is full of exciting secrets and unique curios for players to find, and one collectible that fans will enjoy hunting for is the Black Rubber Duck. There are a total of five Black Rubber Ducks hidden across the various districts of The City. Some spots are more straightforward to discover, but others require players to reach less accessible secret areas in Dying Light 2. Keep in mind that while each of the ducks' locations is fixed, the method used to arrive at the site will vary depending on the player's situation.
The first Rubber Duck can be found within the VNC Tower of the Garrison District. Use the Lift on the southern side of the building to ascend the structure. After getting to the upper floors, continue to the top of the skyscraper by riding the elevator to the VNC Tower Roof. After a few moments, exit the elevator and walk out onto the ledge to the right. From here, players must carefully yet skillfully drop down into the hidden room below. A good strategy would be to hug the wall while falling so Aiden will perform an automatic ledge-grab.
Within the VNC Tower's secret room in Dying Light 2, players will find a blood-stained note on the table that reads, "if u 555, then I'm ..." Using this clue, input 6-6-6 into the Safe sitting on the right to collect the duck. The next Black Rubber Duck is hidden between Garrison and the Mount Lucid Observatory. Using an army truck or other climbable platform, scale the gate to reach the interior of the guard lookout. Inside, players will find a duck atop a container, along with other valuable loot.
Another Black Rubber Duck can be found near the north border of The Wharf, next to GRE Anamoly C-A-83. Go to where the overhead highway ends and dive into the murky waters below. Beneath the surface, players will discover a sunken car with a trunk that can be unlocked with a Lockpick. Open the vehicle to retrieve the next rare collectible in Dying Light 2.
The fourth Black Rubber Duck is the easiest to find. It can be found in the open, sitting on a skull along the water walkway near the border between Lower Dam Ayre and Newfound Lost Lands. The final Black Rubber Duck is found in the swamps northwest of Houndfield, left of the Hellgate Graffiti.
