Arsenal face missing out on Alexander Isak transfer after Real Sociedad striker has head turned by European giant
ARSENAL are reportedly in danger of missing out on top transfer target Alexander Isak.
That’s because the Real Sociedad striker has had his head turned by another European giant.
Alexander Isak could snub Arsenal for another top European side[/caption]Sport claims Arsenal are keen on signing Isak this summer after losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona.
Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are also set to leave on free transfers at the end of the season.
And Mikel Arteta is in desperate need of attacking reinforcements.
However, Isak has now emerged as a target for another team.
It’s reckoned that despite pinching Aubameyang on a free transfer from the Emirates last month, Barcelona are now plotting to hijack Arsenal’s Isak move too.
Nou Camp boss Xavi would ideally like to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

But with interest in the Norwegian high, Isak has been identified as a more realistic option.
And the Swede himself is keen too, preferring a move to Barcelona over Arsenal should the opportunity present itself.
The Catalans even believe they can sign Isak for less than his £64million release clause, which kept Arsenal at bay during the January transfer window.
Should Mikel Arteta miss out on Isak, it would make it three strikers to snub him in as many weeks.

The Gunners boss first missed out on Dusan Vlahovic, who opted to leave Fiorentina for Juventus.
Arteta then targeted Alvaro Morata, who was thought to be available following Vlahovic’s arrival in Turin.
But the ex-Chelsea flop still opted to stay put on deadline day, leaving Arsenal empty-handed.
