New Daily Covid Cases Exceed 43,000, Minister Confirms Peak

New confirmed daily Covid cases for February 10 reached 43,477. Ukraine is currently experiencing a peak in cases, Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Lyashko confirmed, with the daily average for the last seven days reaching 37,409, official data shows.

Speaking on Feb. 10, Lyashko said that “we’re already at the peak of incidence, as we are recording 41,000 cases a day.” The number of new cases is growing, but not the new number of people being hospitalized, which reduces the burden on care in hospitals, Lyashko added.
