I’m not worried about the Dancing On Ice curse – Vanessa is half my age and I’m happily married insists Brendan Cole

BRENDAN Cole has insisted he’s not worried about the infamous Dancing On Ice curse – because he’s happily married.

Most recently Love Island stars Kem Cetinay and Wes Nelson saw their relationship splits coincide with their time in the ITV competition.

But Brendan, 45, claims it’s definitely not a concern for him and wife Zoe, 37.

The former Strictly star, who has been paired with stunning Vanessa Bauer, said: “The curse is not an issue for me, no.

“I’m a happily married man dancing with a beautiful young lady who’s almost half my age!”

Speaking to the Mirror, Brendan confessed Zoe is his biggest supporter.

He continued: “Zoe has been an angel. She’s been incredible throughout this. She’s had two children pretty much on her own for the duration.

“I can’t thank her enough for that because if you’re in a relationship, you can’t do a show like this without support, it would just be too hard.”

Brendan and Zoe are parents to daughter Aurelia, nine, and three-year-old son Dante.

Unsurprisingly Brendan revealed the kids are in awe of his current job, and said: “The children are very excited about it, my daughter in particular.

“They get to come to the show and I’ve had Aurelia on the ice a couple of times, which is nice.

“It’s a lovely thing to do, having been on Strictly for so long. This is a job where I get to really grow and do something very different.”
