Euphoria Season 2 Episode 6 Images Preview Cute Fez & Lexi Hangout Scene
Euphoria season 2, episode 6 images preview a cute Fez and Lexi hangout scene. The two characters developed an unexpected connection at the New Year's Eve Party during Euphoria's season 2 premiere last month. Played by Maude Apatow, Lexi Howard is the younger sister of Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) who often feels like she's living in the shadow of her more popular older sibling. Fezco (Angus Cloud) is a local drug dealer who frequently interacts with many of the teenagers on the show, especially Rue (Zendaya).
Though Euphoria season 2 has recently faced some criticism for sidelining its supporting characters, HBO's hit teen drama ultimately thrives because of them. Both Lexi and Fez play nuanced roles in Rue's life as a recovering drug addict, at times enabling her and other times telling her the cold hard truth. Both characters have also seen increased roles in season 2. Lexi is writing a play inspired by her own life and all the teenage drama around her, mostly involving her sister, which she plans to put on at their high school. Fez has emerged as an unlikely hero this season due to his actions towards Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi), the closest character the show has to a villain.
Maude Apatow recently took to Instagram to share a look at the next chapter of Euphoria. The images appear to be a mix of photos taken behind-the-scenes and stills from the actual episode. The photos preview a cute Fez and Lexi hangout scene and a flashback involving the two Howard sisters, both of which will seemingly be seen during episode 6 given Apatow's caption which simply reads, "SUNDAY." Fans have been shipping Lexi and Fez as a couple ever since they demonstrated some palpable chemistry during the season premiere. Though Lexi later seemed turned off by Fez's actions when he brutally beat Nate at the end of the episode, she goes right back to Fez at his gas station during the next episode where she witnesses the tense standoff between him and Nate's father, Cal (Eric Dane). Now, it appears Fex and Lexi's next encounter will come during episode 6 of this season.
The two would certainly be an interesting couple considering Lexi is one of the more innocent and caring characters on the show, while Fez is a seasoned criminal who has even killed some of his associates in the drug trade to protect he and his partner Ashtray's operation. However, Fez has always been kind towards Lexi, the two sharing a deep and meaningful conversation about God and friendship during the party. Euphoria season 2 is close to finishing up and with only three episodes left, if the show plans on fleshing out Lexi and Fez's relationship, now is the time to do it.
