Those Keeping Up With the Kardashians' drama lately may be intrigued to learn Kanye West and his new girlfriend Julia Fox are reportedly in an open relationship. Kanye and Julia met at a New Year’s Eve party in Miami at the end of last year and have gone on numerous extravagant dates since. Spending time both in Julia's native city of New York and Los Angeles, the relationship has received a substantial amount of attention due to Kanye's ongoing divorce from his ex, Kim Kardashian. Kim and Kanye have four children together, while Julia shares a child with her ex-husband and "absent father," Peter Artemiev.
Recently Kanye has been making headlines for a variety of different reasons. Most of the attention relates to his relationship with Julia and conflicts surrounding parenting his children with Kardashian. Sources close to the highly publicized couple reported to Page Six that the pair is in an open relationship and are actively dating other people. Rumors had spread that the divorce drama may have caused tension between Julia and Kanye, stemming from the actress deleting posts from Instagram with Kanye, but this is reportedly false. “Their bond transcends typical norms because they’re evolved beings who just want each other to be happy,” the source close to Julia revealed. “There is no jealousy or bad vibes.”
On Monday night at a listening party for Kanye's upcoming album “Donda 2”, Kanye was seen alongside Kendell Jenner, Travis Scott, and a new fling. Kanye was seen with the Instagram model and Kim Kardashian-lookalike Chaney Jones. A second source reported to Page Six that Kanye is “actively seeing” Jones, who wore a black catsuit to the party that bore a striking resemblance to Kardashian’s 2021 People Choice Award outfit. Kanye isn’t alone in pursuing other flings. The Uncut Gems actress is dating an unknown East Coast local as well.
Amid Kanye's chaotic divorce process, it makes sense that the Gold Digger rapper would crave a consistent support system. Kanye and Julia's polygamous relationship seems to cater to Kanye's jet-set lifestyle while still forging a connection with Julia. Kanye seeing Jones might be seen as an attempt to address his emotions toward his ex, or perhaps it’s simply a new connection. Open relationships have become increasingly common in recent years to resolve the tension stemming from jealousy, competitiveness, and monogamous restriction.
