90 Day Fiancé: Why Ben Rathbun Doesn't Deserve All The Shade From Fans
Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers criticize Ben Rathbun for dating a 24-year-old Mahogany Roca and showing off his muscles, but he shouldn't be blamed for being fit and in love. The 52-year-old reality star recently debuted on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5. During his introduction segment, he told cameras that he found Mahogany online and had been chatting with her for a few months. Ben connects with his Peruvian girlfriend on a spiritual level, and he is now ready to meet her in person.
However, just when Ben was about to take his flight to Peru, Mahogany asked him to cancel the plan because her father was against their relationship. The 90 Day Fiancé star took the flight anyway and started hunting down Mahogany in her hometown. Many fans found Ben's behavior problematic and labeled him as a stalker. He was called “desperate” to fly to a foreign country to pursue a relationship with a woman who is 28 years junior to him.
Most fans aren't connecting with Ben, but the new 90 Day Fiancé star doesn't deserve such massive backlash on social media. Ideally, he shouldn't have pursued a young woman who is just a few years older than his daughter. But he shouldn't be dragged for falling in love with someone he felt connected with. Now that he has found someone like-minded, he can't simply give up on her without even trying.

Therefore, it doesn't make sense for Ben to forget Mahogany without even meeting her once. Fans think that an age gap of 28 years between Ben and Mahogany is the biggest issue in their relationship.
