I broke my wrist and went to a salon to get my hair and makeup done – I look like a 1980s character and I hate it

ONE WOMAN needed an extra hand getting ready after she broke her wrist and couldn’t do her hair and makeup herself.

Jacey, known as @jaceymuscat on social media, shared a video showing off the hair and makeup she ended up with after leaving the salon.

She explained that she had broken her dominant wrist and wasn’t able to get ready before going out for a birthday event that same night.

In order to save some money, she found a Groupon to get both her makeup and hair done at a salon for just $51.

She claimed she drove an hour in each direction for her appointment and was hoping that the money, time, and travel would be worth it.

To her surprise, Jacey left the salon looking a little different than she had hoped for.

Her hair was blown out with loose curls and a ton of volume, and just enough messiness to look straight out of the ’80s.

While showing her new look off on video, Jacey speechlessly stared at the camera.

Users were hysterical at her $51 look, saying: “Birthday thing is ’80s themed?” and “Did you ask for a specific decade?”

One even went as far to joke: “*deletes Groupon.*”

The users made a number of comparisons, saying: “It’s giving Glamor Shots by Deb” and “LMAO came out looking like Cynthia from Rugrats.”

Another joked, telling her to get photos done at JCPenney Portrait Center.

After getting home, Jacey said she fixed the look using her left hand and felt she did 100 percent better than the salon.

One woman went to a salon to get highlights done before her birthday but left with a head full of streaks that people thought were painted on.
